Dozens of local vendors will offer free health screenings and safety information Saturday during a Family Health & Safety Fair sponsored by state Sen. Patrick M. Gallivan, R-Elma.
The fair runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in West Seneca Senior Center, 4620 Seneca St.
Vendors include public and private organizations, law enforcement agencies and other emergency personnel. Blood donations will be accepted by the American Red Cross, and there will be a car seat safety check and child identification cards issued.
• A spaghetti dinner will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at St. John XXIII Parish Hall, Harlem Road and Arcade Street. Dinners are $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 7 to 12; children 6 and younger eat for free.
• The Town Board meets at 7 p.m. Monday in Council Chambers at Town Hall, 1250 Union Road.
• A regular meeting of the West Seneca School Board begins at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the board room at West Elementary School, 1397 Orchard Park Road. The board will vote on the BOCES budget and board member elections.
• The Zoning Board of Appeals meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Council Chambers at Town Hall.
