A pair of modern pop powerhouses are teaming for a summer tour that includes a stop on July 29 at Artpark in Lewiston.
Christina Perri and Colbie Caillat have announced their “Girls Night Out, Boys Can Come Too Tour,” which will find iTunes “Breakthrough Pop Artist of 2011” Perri and two-time Grammy Award winner Caillat, co-headlining. Up-and-coming pop songsmith Rachel Platten (“Fight Song”) handling the opening act duties.
Perri continues to support her sophomore effort, “Head or Heart,” which has already yielded the hits “Human,” “Burning Gold,” “The Words” and the Ed Sheeran duet “Be My Forever.” Caillat’s “Gypsy Heart” is her fourth release, and is soaring on the success of the single “Try,” a co-write with Babyface responsible for generating some 40 million views on YouTube and Vevo.
Tickets are $12 advance for general admission, and $27 advance for front-of-stage standing room and reserved seating and go on sale at April 17 (box office, Artpark.net, Tickets.com and by calling 888-223-6000). Artist Fanclub pre-sales begin April 8.
