Woman driving without identification proves to be hard to identify

TOWN OF NIAGARA – A woman stopped for making an unsafe lane change and no front license plate by Niagara County sheriff’s deputies on Monday turned out to be difficult to positively identify after she allegedly gave deputies a false name and was not carrying identification.

Jillian D. Gable, 27, of Norman St., Niagara Falls, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation because of three or more suspensions, false personation, moving from a lane unsafely, no adequate directional signals, operating with obstructed vision and a license plate violation.

Gable was stopped at 6:17 p.m. after failing to signal a turn from Military Road onto North Whitham Drive. She gave deputies a false name and birth date that did not exist with the Department of Motor Vehicles. It later was revealed she had a suspended license for failure to pay multiple traffic fines in the City of Lackawanna and in the Town of Niagara.

She was arraigned in Town of Niagara Court and remanded to Niagara County Jail on $500 bail.
