The Rolling Stones are coming to Orchard Park

The unconfirmed rumors have finally become official.

Legendary rock band The Rolling Stones has announced a July 11 stop in Ralph Wilson Stadium as part of its North American stadium tour.

Tickets go on sale for the general public at 10 a.m. April 13. Visit The Rolling Stones' website for further details.

Buffalo Bills club and suite account holders will have the right to purchase club/suite tickets for the concert. All other season ticket members will receive information about a presale schedule for April 10.

Western New York will be the tour's second-last stop, as The Stones close the tour in Quebec four days later.

Amusingly, the complete tour schedule was released Tuesday morning as a takeover ad on the website of Major League Baseball's Tampa Bay Rays, although a July 11 stop in Buffalo has been all but official for nearly three weeks.

While The Rolling Stones haven't stopped in Western New York since 1997, the News has sent a reviewer across the border to critique Mick Jagger and co.'s Toronto shows.
