According to Ticketmaster.com, tickets for The Rolling Stones’ just-announced July 11 appearance at Ralph Wilson Stadium will range in price from $77.50 to $403.00 each. I’ll give you a minute to pick yourself up off the floor.
You ok now? Good. Because there’s more. The $77.50 tickets will come to $88.30 each after fees are tacked on. The $403.00 tickets will come to a rather untidy $420.15 each, post add-ons. For that kind of money, one half expects to see Brian Jones brought back from the dead to play sitar on “Paint It Black.”
So if you plan to go with a significant other and actually be able to see the wrinkles on Mick Jagger’s face, you’re looking at $840.30 just to get in the door.
Tickets will go on-sale to the general public at 10 a.m. April 13, although Buffalo Bills’ club and suite holders retain the right to purchase club/suite tickets to the show, and Bills season-ticket holders can buy presale on April 10.
In the meantime, you might want to consider cashing in your 401k. Or not.
