NCCC student arrested on drug-related charges

LOCKPORT – A student at Niagara County Community College was arrested on drug-related charges after a variety of illegal substances were found in his dormitory room, State Police reported.

Mark J. Dietz, 19, of Sanborn, was charged last week with five misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and with unlawful possession of marijuana, which is a violation.

Troopers said Dietz had approximately 13 grams of marijuana, methylphenidate pills, hydrocodone, alprazolam and two plastic bags containing an unknown white powdery substance. Dietz was issued an appearance ticket to appear April 7 in Cambria Town Court.
