March 31, 1940: Used cars starting at $89 at the Tri-Main Building

Knox-Lacke Motors took over floor space in what is now the Tri-Main Building on Main Street in Buffalo in the 1920s after Ford Motor Company moved its Buffalo stamping and assembly unit from that factory at Main and Rodney to Woodlawn.

You could buy a new Lincoln, Zephyr, or Mercury from Knox-Lacke, but you could also buy an array of used cars, starting with a seven-year old Oldsmobile sedan for $89 or a Studebaker of the same vintage for $95.
