March 30, 1960: Women soldiers of WWII are now busy on the home front

“The Greatest Generation” also had its share of women who answered the call to serve.

News Reporter Ellen Taussig introduces us to three Western New York women who served overseas in World War II and Korea, but 55 years ago this week were serving their families as housewives, the community as teachers, and, still, on the home front, working for Uncle Sam.
