Buffalo man arrested for two incidents against women

A 26-year-old Buffalo man was jailed after his arrest Sunday following investigations into two incidents against different Buffalo women since last summer.

Kenneth L. Canty, no address disclosed, was taken into custody by Buffalo Police Officers Patrick McDonald and Mark D. Ambellan after being confronted on East Eagle Street. He was charged with two felony counts of third-degree criminal mischief and counts of petit larceny and harassment.

Canty was charged, according to a police report, with taking the cell phone and damaging the Wecker Street home of one woman during an argument late last July 3. He was also charged with breaking two windows of another Buffalo woman’s car by throwing objects at it at Bailey and Lang Avenues about 10:30 a.m. Feb. 7
