The Buffalo Bisons received shutout pitching for the second straight day Monday when right-hander Scott Copeland and three relievers pitched a three-hitter in a 2-0 victory over the Indianapolis Indians in Dunedin, Fla. Left-hander Andrew Albers and three relievers had shut out the Indians, 6-0, on Sunday.
Copeland struck out two and allowed three hits and a walk in five innings. Bo Shultz pitched two frames and Ryan Tepera and Bobby Korecky one inning each of hitless ball to close it out.
The Herd had only six singles in the victory, one by infielder Kevin Nolan for the only RBI. Buffalo is 5-4-1 with three spring training games left before breaking camp this weekend.
