Ken-Ton Meals on Wheels has unveiled a new, enhanced website geared toward current clients and potential new ones.

Highlights of include comprehensive postings of meals and menus, the organization’s Mission Vision and Values statements, photo albums, logistical information regarding meal delivery and contact email links and phone numbers for additional information.

“It’s a trying, emotional time when researching agencies to help parents or loved ones,” Executive Director Dan Wiles said in a news release. “Our new site is easy to use — one stop shopping — to help you feel comfortable about the meals, pricing, and companionship your loved one will be getting.”

The organization serves over 85,000 meals annually to seniors and home-bound persons in the Town of Tonawanda and Village of Kenmore.

This week:

• Registration is open for the town’s baseball and softball camp, which will be held at Brighton Arena on Sundays from April 19 until May 17. The cost is $30 and includes fielding and footwork mechanics, pitchers instruction, base running and other skills for boys ages 9-15 and girls 7-13. The instructors all have experience playing or coaching high school or college baseball. Call 831-1001 for more information.

• As part of the school improvement process, Kenmore West officials are asking parents and guardians to complete the Family Engagement Survey to offer their perspective on school issues. The survey will be open through Friday. To access it, parents and guardians are asked to log onto their Campus Parent Portal accounts, where they will find the link to the questionnaire.
