Letter: Ogilvie doesn’t deserve such shabby treatment

Ogilvie doesn’t deserve such shabby treatment

The recent article concerning Buffalo schools dysfunction, name calling and charges of lying were brought by none other than Carl Paladino. Who was the recipient of these charges? Lo and behold, it was Interim Superintendent Donald A. Ogilvie, Paladino’s own choice to fill the position.

Ogilvie has a track record in education and has an education. He has listened to all sides, has been patient and respectful and in most cases has come up with solutions after considering many different views. Is he going to please all of the board members all of the time? No. But this man who was persuaded to step in until a permanent superintendent could be found does not deserve this abuse and grammar school name calling.
