BURT– Six wines from Black Willow Winery’s cellars earned awards at the recent 2015 International Eastern Wine Competition. Established in 1975, The International Eastern Wine Competition (IEWC) is one of the oldest and largest professional wine competitions in the United States.
Black Willow Winery’s DePeche Meow, a sweet peach wine, earned both the prestigious Best In Class and Double Gold awards. In addition, two silver medals were awarded its Trilogy Red and Chardonnay. Black Willow also earned bronze medals for its Odin’s Nectar, Bare Cat Blush and Riesling.
