The second phase of the Silver Creek and Walnut Creek bridge rehabilitation projects is set to begin on Tuesday, the State Thruway Authority announced.
The new traffic pattern will shift eastbound traffic on both bridges to allow westbound traffic to cross-over onto the eastbound side.
The temporary cross-over will take about one week to construct and is expected to be completed by April 6. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained in both directions for the duration of the construction period.
The Chautauqua County bridge rehabilitation projects are scheduled to be completed by mid-November 2015.
