Niagara Falls man surrenders to state police in Lockport assault

LOCKPORT – A 20-year-old Niagara Falls man surrendered to State Police Thursday in connection with an alleged assault during a March 19 domestic incident in Lockport.

Saquan R. Blackman was charged with a felony count of second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He is accused of striking a victim in the face with a cellular phone. After a days-long search, Blackman showed up at the state police station here. He is due in Lockport City Court on Thursday.
