Four arrested in raid on Jamestown meth lab

JAMESTOWN – Three men and a woman were arrested and jailed Thursday evening for operating a methamphetamine lab in a home at 600 W. Fifth Street.

Agents of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task force and the Jamestown Police SWAT team reported finding a “one-pot method” meth lab in operation with more than four ounces of meth oil and a quantity of manufactured meth on the premises.

Arrested on felony charges of second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and jailed without bail were Beau K.C. Jones, 30; Rocco Beardsley, 29; Brandon M. Smith, 28; and Aimee L. Hogg, 29. All were jailed without bail.

Jones was the subject of earlier arrest warrants for the unlawful manufacture and possession of meth in the second-degree.

Assisting in the raid were officers from Southern Tier Regional Drug Task force and the Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team of the State Police.

City police are asking anyone with information on the illegal trafficking or manufacture of narcotics in the area to contact the drug task force’s anonymous tip line at 716-483-8477.
