LOCKPORT – A second-time felon pleaded guilty to a Niagara Falls house burglary Friday in Niagara County Court.
Speaking through a Spanish-language interpreter, Eduardo E. Rodriguez, 21, of 24th Street in the Falls, admitted to a reduced charge of attempted second-degree burglary. He faces a mandatory minimum of three years in prison and a maximum of seven years when he is sentenced June 5 by County Judge Sara Sheldon.
Rodriguez, a native of Puerto Rico, entered a home on Niagara Avenue Nov. 16. His prior felony was a 2011 third-degree burglary conviction in Erie County.
