How they got there: Mount St. Mary followed up winning its first Monsignor Martin Association championship by beating Good Counsel Academy of White Plains, 42-33, on March 14 behind Julie Fleming’s triple-double, which included 27 points. Brooklyn College Academy won its first New York City Public Schools Athletic League title by beating East Harlem, 46-42.

Brooklyn College key players: Junior Beatrice Wallace, junior Shajuana Henry, sophomore Shaniya Cadogan, senior Cierra Smalls, senior Shaina Brown, sophomore Tatiyana Highsmith.
Skinny on Brooklyn College Academy: The Bobcats are members of New York City’s Public Schools Athletic League. The Brooklyn school, located on Coney Island Avenue, gives students the opportunity to earn college credit.
Scout: The Bobcats are a very feisty and athletic team with only one 6-footer. Brooklyn College Academy knocked off top two seeds in PSAL Tournament en route to the championship. Mount St. Mary must slow down Wallace and Henry, who combined for 31 points in PSAL final, and must take care of the basketball.
What’s next: Winner advances to championship game against either NYSPHSAA champion Susquehanna Valley or Alliance of Independent Schools champion Staten Island Academy at 2 p.m. Sunday.
