Plans for a proposed 54-unit patio home complex in Elma are back in motion after the developer submitted a new site plan to the town.
Property owner Bryan Young hopes to build the Brookside Patio Homes on a nearly 33-acre parcel behind the Pondbrook Homes, with access from Bowen Road.
However, he rescinded his original application when zoning questions were raised over whether the project qualified as a regular or cluster subdivision.
Young filed a new application on Feb. 26, but the project must go through a state environmental quality review.
The Elma town board last week took lead agency status for the review, which allows the town to solicit public comment on the project.
