Buffalo man pleads guilty to crack trafficking

Deandre “Dee Dee” Sparks, 23, of Buffalo pleaded guilty Thursday before Senior U.S. District Judge William M. Skretny to possession with intent to distribute and distribution of crack cocaine. U.S. Attorney William J. Hochul, Jr. said Sparks faces a prison term of up to 20 years and a fine of up to $1 million when he is sentenced July 15. From the summer of 2013 through late February 2014 Sparks was selling crack cocaine in Buffalo, Hochul said.

He was arrested shortly after selling some to an FBI confidential source who turned him into the authorities, Hochul said.
