Wooden patio furniture sold at area stores is being recalled after two people reported minor injuries caused by people falling when the chairs tipped.
Linon Home Decor has recalled its Outdoor Wood Bistro Set, about 3,300 of which were sold at Bed Bath & Beyond, Home Goods, Marshalls and T.J. Maxx stores across the country. The chairs, which have been noted to tip unexpectedly, were made in Vietnam and imported by Linon, which is based in Mineola. The foldable, teak-stained chairs were sold individually and as a two-chair set with a bistro table.
The sets were sold from February 2014 through February 2015. Consumers should return the product to the store where it was purchased and receive a full refund. For more information, call (800) 262-1852 or visit www.linon.com.
