Televisions stolen in two separate break-ins

NIAGARA FALLS – Thefts of televisions were reported in separate apartment burglaries in Niagara Falls on Tuesday.

A door was forced open between 9 p.m. Monday and 4 p.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of 38th Street. Police said someone made a hole in the door to allow them to reach in and unlock the door. Clothing had been thrown around, a 22–inch television was taken from the bedroom and a 32–inch television was taken from the living room. Loss and damage was $800.

In the 600 block of Whirlpool Street a door was forced open and the door frame was damaged between 3 and 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

A 48–inch flat screen television and a Playstation 2 were stolen. Loss and damage were $1,000.
