Pierogi kick off Hydraulic pop-ups

Pierogi specialist Andy Ruszczyk of Ru’s Pierogi will lead off the “Brick Oven No Pizza” series at Hydraulic Hearth on March 30.

The one-night menus will allow chefs to showcase their talents at the Larkin Square restaurant, 716 Swan St., where dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. The Buffalo Beer Goddesses event will include three courses with beer pairings. April 27 will feature Jill Forster of Nickel City Cheese & Mercantile; May 18 features Lloyd Taco trucks’ Teddy Bryant.

Tickets are $65 including tax and tip, through BrickOvenNoPizza.eventbrite.com. Sales for March 30 dinner end midnight March 26.
