A burglar who stole jewelry and cash from several houses in the southern part of Orchard Park last summer pleaded guilty in Erie County Court Monday to four counts of attempted burglary.
Authorities said Michael Dinardo, 25, of Orchard Park committed the burglaries between May and July.
“A large amount of jewelry and cash were taken from these houses,” town police said in a statement released Tuesday.
Dinardo is scheduled to be sentenced May 27 by State Supreme Court Justice Penny M. Wolfgang. Authorities said he will serve a minimum of two years in jail and have to make restitution of close to $70,000 to the victims.
The case was investigated by Orchard Park Police Detectives John Payne and Larry Brand.
