Drunk driver crashed into mail box in Boston

A 22-year-old Town of Boston man was arrested for drunken driving and traffic violations after he allegedly crashed into a mail box and a utility pole on Feddick Road in Boston early Monday.

Brady Hess was arrested at the scene by Erie County Sheriff’s Deputy Kenneth Achtyl after he failed field sobriety tests and later failed a chemical test, showing he had a blood-alcohol level of 0.22 percent, nearly three times the state’s legal limit. He was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and a number of traffic violations.
