Lowdown: Boyle possesses a muscular, NFL-ready frame with big arms and hands. He’s a natural hands-catcher, although did drop a few balls he shouldn’t have during Senior Bowl week. … Named to the All-Colonial Athletic Association second team as a junior and first team as a senior, although his numbers and performance were better in 2013. … A team captain who finished as the Blue Hens’ all-time leader in receptions among tight ends, and ranks second in Delaware history in yards and touchdowns. … High character off the field. … Will be drafted on potential, as he played against an inferior level of competition. … Needs to become more physical as a blocker.

They said it: “The in-line tight end who’s a great blocker and also a receiver is getting more and more rare. … That helps the kid from Delaware. I like him.” – NFL Network draft analyst Mike Mayock.
