All signs – figuratively and literally – point to the Rolling Stones playing in Buffalo this July, but the official announcement looks like it has been delayed.
The Stones’ “Satisfaction Thursday” billboard campaign had signs popping up in cities rumored to be part of the summer tour, including Buffalo, pointing to an official announcement today. But now sources are telling The Buffalo News that there may be a delay in the Stones camp, and the announcement will be coming by the end of the month.
Additionally, Wednesday evening, Nashville, Tenn. television station WKRN-2 cited “an issue with the nationwide promoter’s ticketing” as the reason for the rumored shift in the date for the official tour announcement. Nashville is one of the cities expected to be a part of the 14-date tour.
