MessFest promises to be icky fun Sunday at Buffalo Science Museum

The Buffalo Museum of Science will host its first MessFest on Sunday.

MessFest invites families to explore science through messy experiments and demonstrations, including a “Slime Run,” “Shaving Cream Chaos,” “Volcano Blast-Off!,” “Toothpaste Eruptions,” “Liquid Nitrogen Mania,” “Powder Painting,” and “Diet Coke and Mentos Explosions.”

Museum officials stress that attendees will get messy and may want to consider bringing a change of clothes.

MessFest runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the museum, 1020 Humboldt Parkway; admission is included with general museum admission and payable at the door. For more information, visit sciencebuff.org.
