Two Java village residents injured in rollover accident

GENESEE FALLS – A 69-year-old Java Village woman driver and her 22-year-old male relative were taken to a hospital after a rollover crash of her vehicle Tuesday on Griffith Road in the Town of Genesee Falls, according to the State Police.

Donna M. Kline and her unidentified relative were injured as her car struck a pothole that caused it to spin out of control and overturn in a ditch on the south shoulder of the road, officials said. Both were taken to the Noyes Hospital in Dansville for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. State police said no tickets will be issued and the Genesee Falls Highway Department was contacted to repair the highway. Wyoming County sheriff’s deputies, a Pike ambulance crew and Nunda Fire Department crews were called to the scene.
