Repeat drunken driver pleads guilty to felony

LOCKPORT – A Niagara Falls man who has two previous driving while intoxicated convictions pleaded guilty Wednesday to a felony DWI count stemming from an Oct. 12 arrest in the Falls.

Demian P. Hernandez, 26, of Michigan Avenue, is to be sentenced May 12 by State Supreme Court Justice Richard C. Kloch Sr.

Deputy District Attorney Theodore A. Brenner said the plea deal for Hernandeaz included dismissal of a so-far-unindicted DWI charge resulting from a Nov. 1 arrest in Niagara Falls.
