Glenwood man arrested for DWI after Colden two-car crash

A 69-year-old Glenwood man was arrested by State Police for drunken driving and traffic offenses after a two-car crash Saturday on Lower East Hill road in the Town of Colden.

Glen Richter was allegedly trying to pass a car in front of him when that vehicle was making a left turn into a driveway. After the two vehicles collided Richter’s car ended up in a ditch. There were no injuries.

Richter was charged with driving while intoxicated for having a blood-alcohol level of 0.08 per cent. He was also charged with failing to keep right, driving to the left of pavement markings and unsafe passing on the left. Both vehicles were towed from the accident scene.
