Drug found in unusually-addressed envelope at Niagara County Jail

LOCKPORT – Corrections officers at the Niagara County Jail on Tuesday morning uncovered a letter addressed to an inmate that contained a single orange strip of the narcotic, suboxone, hidden in the envelope flap.

But a strange return address may have given the contraband away.

The Niagara County Sheriff Department reported that the false return address was: P. Pirate, who resides at 432 Scam Ln.

No arrests were reported.
