The Western New York Flash has announced some changes to its roster as it enters its second week of training camp. The team is preparing for the upcoming women’s soccer season.
Forward Lynn Williams has returned to Pepperdine to finish the spring semester of her senior year. She was taken sixth overall in the 2015 NWSL draft. Williams plans to return to the team once school ends.
International players Camilla Kur-Larsen and Ajara Nchout Njoya, meanwhile, have both arrived in Buffalo. They will begin workouts with the team this week.
The current roster, which includes players currently not in camp:
Goalkeepers: Sabrina D’Angelo, DiDi Haracic, and Chantel Jones.
Defenders: Megan Brigman, Abby Dahlkemper, Kristen Edmonds, Whitney Engen, Jaelene Hinkle, Shanna Hudson, Haley Palmer, Toni Pressley, Chelsea Stewart, Brittany Taylor, and India Trotter.
Midfielders: Jordan Angeli, Amber Brooks, Dominika Conc, Becky Edwards, Samantha Mewis, and Mami Yamaguchi.
Forwards: Kristen Hamilton, Camilla Kur-Larsen, Ajara Nchout Njoya, Pia Rijsdijk, Jasmyne Spencer, Abby Wambach, and Lynn Williams.
Season tickets and mini-packs for the team’s home games are now available. Individual game tickets will go on sale on March. 30.
