A crime and safety forum for residents in Erie County’s 1st Legislative District is planned for 6 to 8 p.m. March 24 in the Matt Urban Hope Center, 385 Paderewski Drive.
Guests scheduled to attend the event include U.S. Attorney William Hochul; state Sen. Tim Kennedy, D-Buffalo; Assemblyman Michael Kearns, D-Buffalo; and attorney John V. Elmore.
The forum will be hosted by Legislator Barbar Miller-Williams, D-Buffalo, and conducted by the Stop the Violence Coalition. Miller said the aim of the forum is for residents to convey their concerns and offer their thoughts on quality of life issues in the 1st Legislative District. Another forum is planned for April 21 in the Belle Center, 104 Maryland St.
