The West Seneca School District is recruiting bus drivers for the 2015-16 school year.
Candidates must be at least 21 years old and, by the time of appointment, possess a valid state commercial driver’s license with school bus and passenger endorsements. Qualifications also include meeting requirements of the state Department of Motor Vehicles and the Education Department.
Starting pay is $13.25 an hour and the work schedule is approximately 4 to 6 hours a day. Work begins in mid-August.
Drivers are eligible for health and dental insurance; paid holidays, personal and sick days; and participation in the state’s Employee Retirement System.

• A free screening of “The Road to Singapore” begins at 7 p.m. Thursday in the classroom at Burchfield Nature & Art Center, 2001 Union Road. The 1940 American comedy stars Bing Crosby, Bob Hope and Dorothy Lamour.
• Fellowship Wesleyan Church, 1645 Southwestern Blvd., is holding a rummage sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Early bird admission is $1.
• Special exhibits and demonstrations to commemorate National Quilting Day will be held 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Burchfield Nature & Art Center, which is hosting a Fiber Arts Exhibit through March 29. Regular gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday.
