Scale minimum wage to the size of employer
I am a small business owner in Buffalo and employ high school and college students and adults wanting some extra income. I would love to give them all the proposed minimum wage of $10.50 an hour, but smaller businesses generate less money. Why not tier the minimum wage proposal for small, medium and large businesses?
How about $8.75 an hour for businesses with fewer than 25 employees; $9.75 for businesses with between 26 and 75 employees; and $10.50 for the rest? All businesses are not created equal.
