Two women were arrested Thursday at a home on Grant Street on felony charges for assaulting a man during a robbery Wednesday on Hoyt Street, and an Auburn Avenue man was arrested at the Grant Street home after he allegedly threatened the arresting officers with an aluminum baseball bat, police said.
Mariah Bobbit, 19, and Destinie Colon, 17, who both refused to disclose their home addresses, were charged with felony counts of burglary in the second-degree, assault in the second-degree and harassment for breaking into a Hoyt Street home and using a pocket knife to injure a male occupant about 11:45 p.m. Wednesday.
A man identified by police as Bristol Pama was arrested for allegedly using the baseball bat to threaten the police officers as they were taking the two women into custody. Pama was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and menacing. Later it was confirmed that Pama was already the subject of a Cheektowaga Court arrest warrant.
