LITTLE VALLEY – An Olean man being held in the Cattaraugus County Jail is accused of a rape in December, State Police said Thursday.
The suspect, identified as Timothy Faircloth, 38, was known to offer rides to women in the past, police said. Faircloth, also known as Timothy Hale, was remanded to jail in lieu of $250,000 bail following arraignment before Allegany Town Justice David Porter. He is charged with first-degree rape, first-degree sexual abuse and unlawful imprisonment.
