Niagara Falls woman beaten and robbed after leaving casino

NIAGARA FALLS – A woman walking home from Seneca Niagara Casino was attacked and robbed at 2 a.m. Thursday in the 500 block of Memorial Parkway, Niagara Falls police said..

The victim, 66, said the robber, whose face was partially covered with a dark scarf, demanded money, and when she told him she didn‘t have any, punched her in the head three times, knocking her down. The bandit rummaged through her pockets and took $500,a debit card and a $300 cellphone, then then kicked her in the legs before fleeing, said police, adding that the woman was treated in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.

The suspect was described as a black male, 6-foot-1, 165 pounds, with a moustache, wearing a black jacket, red shirt and dark pants.
