It’s official: Dyster is seeking a third term

NIAGARA FALLS – Two-term Democratic incumbent Paul A. Dyster on Thursday made official his intent to run for a third term as the city’s mayor.

Dyster, who also previously served on the City Council, made the announcement in front of about 60 people gathered in the office of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 237, on Niagara Falls Boulevard.

Other declared candidates in the race include City Councilman Glenn A. Choolokian, a Democrat, along with Republicans John G. Accardo and Jim J. Szwedo.
