LOCKPORT – A Niagara Falls man, arrested on a gun possession charge last year in the Town of Niagara, was arraigned on a felony indictment Thursday in Niagara County Court.
Albert C. Mallory, 27, of Hope Boulevard, pleaded not guilty to second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Assistant District Attorney John N. Philipps said the gun, a loaded .25-caliber automatic pistol, allegedly was in plain view after police stopped his car May 16.
The arrest came a month after Mallory pleaded guilty to the same charge in Niagara Falls City Court. Court officials said he has yet to be sentenced in the earlier case.
