LOCKPORT – A man who was convicted of statutory rape in 2011 and placed on probation agreed to a plea deal Wednesday connected to an upcoming guilty plea to a new felony.
Level 2 sex offender Raymond P. Boskat Jr., 41, of Ridge Road, Newfane, admitted to State Supreme Court Justice Richard C. Kloch Sr. that he had access to pornography on his laptop computer and his cellphone; that he failed to report to his probation officer; and that he was charged with failing to register properly under the Sex Offender Registration Act.
Boskat is scheduled to plead guilty to a felony charge next week in regard to the latter accusation. Kloch said he will sentence Boskat concurrently April 23, limiting his maximum prison time to four years.
Boskat had a lengthy sexual relationship with an underage girl in 2010 and 2011.
