Tonight's Buffalo School Board meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. in Waterfront Elementary School, 95 4th Street. Here's the link to the agenda packet.
Aside from what is listed on the agenda, Supt. Don Ogilvie and his staff are expected to provide the board an update on what public school buildings may be available for potential takeover by charter schools. Board member Carl Paladino has also submitted multiple resolutions regarding attendance, tenure and neighborhood schools (those resolutions can be found at the end of the agenda packet).
We will be covering this meeting live. However, The News no longer has access to the live blog software we used to use and which many of you are familiar with. So instead, I will be using my Twitter handle @BNschoolzone to live tweet this meeting. You do not need to have a Twitter account to follow my live tweets. Those tweets will all be collected and published below so anyone can follow along. As you can see, all tweets by myself and my fellow education reporter colleagues automatically show up in this space.
Anyone who does follow me on Twitter (and you really should -- it's easy to create an account) can reply to my tweets as the meeting runs, and I'll do my best to retweet/republish the ones worth sharing. This might be a little tricky, so I appreciate everyone's patience.
