The Stones take a fifth?

Could the Rolling Stones be rolling into Buffalo? Could be.

According to the music news website, the legendary rockers will be announcing a summer, 2015 stadium tour within the next week. The band is said to be touring in support of the deluxe reissue of their classic “Sticky Fingers.” The tour will find the band performing the entire album in 14 cities. One of them, according to, will be Buffalo. Since this is a stadium tour, that would mean Ralph Wilson Stadium would be the venue of choice.

“Reportedly – without being officially confirmed – The Stones will play Milwaukee on June 23rd and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on July 4th,” reads the piece, in part. “Other stops are to include Red Rocks in Colorado, Buffalo, Pittsburgh and somewhere in NYC. There will be Canadian cities on the tour, which could include a festival.”

If this turns out to be true, this would be the first time the Stones played Buffalo since the 1997 “Bridges to Babylon” tour.

And if they play the stadium, it would be the fifth time they appeared there.

Zoolander’s return

Derek Zoolander and Hansel are so hot right now. The airheaded male models played by Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson in the 2001 couture comedy “Zoolander” are set to catwalk their way back to the big screen Feb. 12, Paramount Pictures announced Tuesday.

The studio confirmed the long-gestating sequel “Zoolander 2” in splashy, ahem, fashion: During the Valentino show at Paris Fashion Week, Stiller and Wilson made surprise in-character runway appearances to close out the proceedings.

The crowd erupted as Stiller appeared in a dark suit and overcoat – giving his best Blue Steel face, naturally – and Wilson showed off some light-blue silk pajamas. The two even got some face time backstage with fashion queen Anna Wintour.

A representative of Valentino told the Los Angeles Times that the top-secret deal has been in the works for months.

McKinnon is new Hillary

For months, one question has lingered over the prospective presidential campaign of Hillary Clinton, and that is: Who will play her on “Saturday Night Live”?

Now, “SNL” has signaled that Kate McKinnon – a 31-year-old cast member most recently lauded for her impersonation of Justin Bieber – will fill that well-worn pantsuit. Many “SNL” observers had expected Vanessa Bayer, who has occasionally played Clinton in recent seasons and is still on the “SNL” cast, would be tapped for the role.

But McKinnon debuted in the role this past Saturday, in an episode-opening skit that was “SNL’s” first major Clinton riff of the 2016 cycle, portraying a frontrunner smugly confident this whole private-email controversy will blow over.

How does she compare with her predecessors?

We can’t go much farther without praising just how masterful Amy Poehler was in her performances.
