Man’s Jeep is trashed and car stereo equipment stolen

NIAGARA FALLS – A Niagara Falls man said all the windows in his Jeep were broken, all four tires were slashed, holes were cut in the seats, a hole was punctured in the radiator; paint thinner was poured on the outside damaging the paint, and brake fluid was poured into the gas tank, sometime between 10 p.m. Sunday and 1:17 a.m. Monday at a garage in the 2700 block of Pierce Avenue.

The suspect also took $5,300 worth of stereo equipment from the 2004 Jeep Cherokee, including a $400 amp, a $3,000 amp, and two knives, as well as two subwoofers that had been on the floor of the garage.

The 29-year-old victim said he went out at 10 p.m. Sunday and had accidentally left the garage door open.
