4. New York Islanders. Neuvirth some good insurance if Halak has any issues. (4)

5. Tampa Bay Lightning. No one talks about them as an Eastern Conference favorite. Can’t figure it out. (7)

6. New York Rangers. Staying close to the top even without The King in the net. (6)

7. St. Louis Blues. When trying to catch Predators, can’t blow third-period lead in Philly. (5)

8. Detroit Red Wings. A 3-9 shootout mark hard to figure with all their skill. (8)

9. Pittsburgh Penguins. Still in range for run at Metro title. (9)

10. Chicago Blackhawks. NHL-best 9-3 record in shootouts. (10)

11. Washington Capitals. Very safe for first East wild-card. (11)

12. Minnesota Wild. Still thinking they can catch Hawks or Blues. (14)
