Buffalo man charged with selling cocaine in North Tonawanda

LOCKPORT – DeAndre S. Hampton, 25, of East Utica Street, Buffalo, pleaded not guilty Wednesday in State Supreme Court to an indictment accusing him of selling cocaine to a Niagara County Drug Task Force agent Aug. 14 in North Tonawanda.

Hampton was indicted on charges of third-degree criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance after he failed to show up in court for a preindictment plea Jan. 21.

His co-defendant in the case, Mykel M. Davis, 24, also of East Utica Street, took such a deal Jan. 16 and was admitted to the judicial diversion program of court-supervised drug treatment by Justice Richard C. Kloch Sr.
