After quiet start, Sabres' Murray hopes his players are on other team's lists

It's expected to be a busy day in Sabreland, but it certainly hasn't started that way.

"Very quiet," Buffalo General Manager Tim Murray told Sabres.com.

The Sabres will try to move pending unrestricted free agents Chris Stewart, Torrey Mitchell, Andrej Meszaros, Andre Benoit and Tyson Strachan before Monday's 3 p.m. trade deadline.

"It’s fair to say I’m a seller, for sure, but you can only sell if there’s buyers," Murray told the team website. "There’s been a lot of trades so far, but obviously teams are going down their list and hopefully our players fall somewhere on that list."

The video of Murray's short chat is below. The News' daylong coverage of the deadline is available by clicking here.
