Buffalo man sentenced to more than 10 years in prison for child pornography

A Buffalo man convicted of child pornography has been sentenced to 10 years in prison by U.S. District Court Judge Richard J. Arcara.

Michael Kemp, 37, also received four months in prison for violating release terms after being freed from prison in July 2008 on another child pornography conviction.

On Oct. 15, 2013, Kemp’s probation officer found a computer and hard drive containing 50 images and eight videos of child pornography hidden in a mattress and box spring in his home, according to Assistant U.S. Attorney Marie P. Grisanti.
