Stun gun, hammer used in Bennett Village Terrace robbery

A man and a woman have been charged in a brutal robbery, in which a stun gun and claw hammer were used as weapons, Buffalo police said in a report.

Officers said Anginell Reese, 42, used the stun gun and Isaac Nicholson, 27, used the hammer to take $10 in cash, car keys and a wallet from their victim in the Bennett Village Terrace apartment complex, near McCarthy Park, shortly before 3 a.m. Friday.

Police said the victim, 61, was seriously injured and needed to be taken by ambulance to Erie County Medical Center. But he was later released.

Reese and Nicholson face felony charges of robbery and assault and misdemeanor charges of weapons possession.
